12 July 1838. Peter Grantham of Orby, tailor, applied to be paid the sum of £5 the residue of a premium due to him from the parish of Burgh in the Marsh for an apprentice named Thomas Kelk a poor child put out by that parish. Ordered that a check be given to him for the amount & charged to the parish of Burgh. [Page 188]
